TN JHA Paper

ISA Membership and Conference registration for ISACON DELHI 2024 is mandatory.

Only Thesis papers submittedby PG students (RCT/Observational research )shall be accepted

  • A bona fide PG student certificate from the Head of the Department to be submitted.
  • Manuscript should be sent as two files: cover page and manuscript
  1. The Cover page should include Name, Designation, Name of the Institute, Contact no, email ID, IEC/CTRI registration number and ISACON Delhi 2024 registration number of presenter. It should also mention undertaking stating the originality (not be published anywhere previously), no objection and signatures of all authors
  2. The Manuscript file should be anonymous with no mention of the name or institution.
  • Maximum world limit - 3000 words (excluding title and references).
  • The Manuscript should be submitted with the following headings:
    • Introduction
    • Primary aim/objectives.
    • Methodology (design of study)
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • References (maximum 10) with maximum of 5 tables and figures.
  • It must be typed and presented in english in Microsoft word with Times New Roman font of size 12 single line spacing with title in bold.
  • Submitted manuscripts will be assessed by an independent expert panel for final selection for podium presentation and presenters will be informed through email.
  • It is mandatory to mail the manuscript to isacondelhi2024@gmail.com (under the subject heading of “ Manuscript for TN Jha Award Paper, ISACON DELHI 2024 ”).
  • Hard Copies will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts will be published in the special edition of ISA DELHI Newsletter.
  • Last date for submission is 8th September, 2024.

Dr Ram Das Pramanik Best Obstetric Paper

General rules:

  1. ISA Membership is mandatory for participation
  2. Registration for Conference is mandatory before applying for this award
  3. It is mandatory to mail the manuscript to isacondelhi2024@gmail.com

Specific rules:

  • Only RCT, observational studies, case series involving novel/ rare cases/ procedures in obstetric anaesthesia shall be considered.
  • Prospective CTRI registration for RCT is mandatory
  • The abstract should be submitted in less than 250 words.
  • It should be structured under headings of:
    • Background and aims Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • For case series, it can be unstructured.
  • The complete paper should be in less than 3000 words having a similar structure as mentioned for abstracts.
  • The submission should not have been published and should have started not more than 5 years earlier, i.e January 2019
  • Last date for submission of papers is 15th September, 2024 till 5:00 pm.

Dr Rajiv Gupta Young Talent Award

Eligibility:

  • Should be a life member of ISA
  • Age <40 years on 22nd September, 2024
  • Should have attended at least one ISA Delhi Annual conference in the last 4 years.
  • Eligible candidates can submit a CV with following headings along with supportive documents at isacondelhi2024@gmail.com by 8th September, 2024.

Selection criteria

  • Educational qualification and details of additional trainings undertaken.
  • Details of engagement in teaching and training.
  • Details of publications in the field of Anaesthesiology and allied specialities (research paper, book and chapter contributions).
  • Details of conferences attended so far as Delegates/ Faculty.
  • Paper and poster presentation made on state, national and international forums.
  • Scholarships and awards won so far.
  • Contributions made for public awareness of speciality.
  • Details of innovations made if any.
  • Awards received in recognition of extracurricular activities - eg. Sports, dramatics, cultural, painting etc.
  • Contributions made in any ISA national or ISA Delhi branch activities.
